About The Author

Amanda Reid is the author of the Flannigan Sisters Psychic Mysteries and is a participating author in the Enchanted Rock Immortals world of paranormal romance novellas.

Since she was young, she’s been an avid reader of mystery, sci-fi, romance, and paranormal books. Her childhood as a career Army brat not only provided plenty of time to immerse herself in books, but also inspired her appreciations of cultures with her father’s postings in exotic locations like Teheran, Iran and DeRidder, Louisiana.

Prior to delving into the publishing world, she spent twenty-four years as a federal agent. Her investigations of murders, fraud, identity theft, drug trafficking, and many other crimes provided her a wealth of inspiration for her mystery and paranormal romance stories.

Beyond writing, Amanda settled in Texas and now enjoys traveling with her husband and two gonzo Australian Shepherds.
