A woman’s promise turns to a perilous scheme for survival…
Aaron
After receiving a cryptic letter, I journeyed to Deadwood, South Dakota to investigate the murder of my cousin, an Ossory wolf just like me. I never expected to find a petite thief rummaging through my belongings minutes after I stepped off the train. While my feral side is far too interested in Josephine Lukas’s wits and beauty, to solve the mystery of my cousin’t death, I must quickly scent out her secrets.
Josephine
He’s finally arrived, and Hera’s toga! Not only can I not use my mind-reading abilities on Aaron Monaghan, but with his auburn hair and powerful physique, he’s an Adonis, someone far too tempting for my sensibilities. Instead of fantasizing about him, I should focus on my mission: to learn if he’s worthy enough to receive his cousin’s most precious gifts…or decide if I should flee before I’m killed just like my friends.
Danger stalks the two through the rough and tumble turn-of-the-20th-century mining town. When Aaron’s wolf claims her as his mate, he must rely on all of his wiles to protect Josephine and her incredible secret from the killer’s crosshairs.
The Wolf's Gamble was originally released in an anthology in May 2025, but has been significantly expanded for this novella, including--ahem--that chapter, *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*
(This story includes scenes of the sexual harassment of a woman and open-door sex between mutually consenting adults.)
The Wolf's Gamble is available in Kindle in both ebook and paperback. This book will be available in Kindle Unlimited for a limited time.
The Wolf's Treasure
***Releases November 9, 2026***
Some dreams aren’t what they seem, even in idyllic Emerald Hill…
Niall
Times may be changing, but even in 1909, I never expected a woman to arrive after advertising for a veterinarian for my remote mining company’s town. Tall, thin, and reserved, she carries herself like an avenging goddess. When my wolf announces Marie Bourbon is my mate, the complication couldn’t have come at a worse time—accidents have plagued Emerald Hill Mining Company, threatening the community my family has built and protected for generations. My pack leader had put me in charge of solving the mystery and finding the culprits so I can finally prove my worth.
Marie
I’ve traveled to this dry, dusty, cold corner of Colorado for one thing: find the reason behind my father’s death in a mining disaster and return home to Southern France. Yet nothing in Emerald Hill is as it should be. This business isn’t run unethically like most and the handsome mine manager, Niall Monaghan, inexplicably makes me want to forget the promises I’ve made to my dead father, to the women I left behind in France…and most especially to myself to never to fall in love again.
While danger stalks Marie and Niall through the San Juan Mountains, threatening the dreamlike community, will it really be the secrets they hide from each other that will destroy any chance at love?
(Along with violence and gore often associated with paranormal romance, this story includes discussions of past DV, and open-door sex between mutually consenting adults, and discussion/actual scene of suicide.)
The Wolf's Treasure will be available in Kindle in both ebook and paperback. This book will be available in Kindle Unlimited for a limited time.
